Bending Spoons to acquire Miro for $1.36 billion

Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire the workplace collaboration platform Miro for $1.355 billion in enterprise value. This price represents a significant decline from Miro’s $17.5 billion valuation achieved in January 2022. After accounting for net cash, the equity value is approximately $1.79 billion.

Miro, which grew rapidly during the remote work boom, currently reports approximately $600 million in annual recurring revenue, with nearly 90% derived from business and enterprise customers. The company has over 100 million users and more than 4 million paying users.

The deal has been approved by both companies’ boards and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals. As part of the transaction, certain Miro shareholders will roll $295 million of their proceeds into newly issued Bending Spoons stock. This acquisition follows Bending Spoons’ recent purchase of Airtable for $1.285 billion in enterprise value.
