Benetton Rugby and Zebre Parma draw in preseason friendly

Benetton Rugby and Zebre Parma played to a 21-21 draw in a preseason friendly held at Monigo Stadium on September 4. The match served as a test for both teams ahead of the 2026/27 United Rugby Championship (URC) season.

Zebre Parma initially took the lead through a try by Giampietro Ribaldi, but Benetton responded with a try from Ivan Nemer to level the score at 7-7 before halftime. In the second half, Benetton's Antony Miranda scored to equalize at 14-14. Despite late scoring efforts from both sides, the match ended in a stalemate.

Following the match, Benetton prop Ivan Nemer noted that while the team is still in the conditioning phase and lacking some physicality, the performance showed positive movements from new players and staff. Benetton is scheduled to face Black Lion in Georgia next.
