Benetton Rugby defeats Black Lion 36-14 in pre-season match

Benetton Rugby concluded their pre-season preparations with a 36-14 victory over Black Lion in Tbilisi, Georgia. The win serves as the final tune-up before the team begins its United Rugby Championship (URC) campaign later this month.

Under the direction of Wayne Pivac, Benetton maintained control for much of the match. Siua Maile was a standout performer, scoring two tries. Other tries for the Italian side were contributed by François Mey, Filippo Drago, Ivan Nemer, and Louis Werchon, with Rhyno Smith successfully converting several attempts.

The Georgian hosts managed to score a late try through Shota Kheladze in the 73rd minute, but it was not enough to challenge Benetton's dominance.
