Benevento approves new free parking area in via Tiengo

The municipal government of Benevento, led by Mayor Clemente Mastella, has approved the creation of a new free public parking area in via Tiengo. The initiative aims to alleviate congestion near the Arch of Trajan and Palazzo Impregilo.

The new parking zone will offer free, unrestricted parking under normal conditions, though the administration maintains the right to introduce time limits, such as 30 or 60-minute discs, in the future. Provisions include reserved spaces for residents of via Tiengo and designated spots for individuals with disabilities. The decision addresses a critical shortage of parking spaces in the area surrounding San Pasquale, via Vittime di Nassiriya, and via Tiengo, which serves residential, commercial, and educational sectors.
