Benevento and Avellino play to a 1-1 draw in Campanian derby

Benevento and Avellino ended their Campanian derby in a 1-1 draw at the Vigorito stadium. Benevento coach Antonio Floro Flores expressed disappointment following the result, noting that while his team controlled much of the play, an individual error led to the equalizer.

Floro Flores remarked that the team deserved more from the match and highlighted that the performance was strong despite the conceded goal. He also addressed recent trends of the team allowing opponents to come back in matches, attributing these instances to individual mistakes rather than tactical failures.

Regarding officiating, the coach noted that while he would have preferred a penalty call in the closing stages, he felt the referee managed the game well.
