Benevento Medical Order joins ‘Adesso, Odesa 2026’ peace event

The Order of Surgeons and Dentists of the province of Benevento has announced its official participation in ‘Adesso, Odesa 2026’. This collective, pro-European, and nonviolent demonstration is organized by the European Movement of Nonviolent Action (MEAN) in collaboration with the Apostolic Nunciature and the Ukrainian Congress of Local Autonomies.

The event is scheduled to take place in Odesa from August 25 to 28, 2026. Luca Milano, representing the Order, stated that the mission is to defend the right to life and human dignity in any context, acting as builders of peace through medical presence and solidarity with those affected by conflict.

The initiative aligns with the ‘Doctors and Peace’ campaign launched by the National Federation of Medical Orders (FNOMCeO), emphasizing that medical care serves as an act of peace and a means to maintain public attention on ongoing conflicts.
