Benfica and Penalty launch new football kits for 2026‑27 season

Portuguese club Benfica unveiled its 2026/27 alternate kit on Saturday, drawing inspiration from the historic "Papoilas Saltitantes" motif. The white shirt features a subtle poppy pattern, a retro‑style polo collar, three red stripes on the shoulders and adidas Aeroready moisture‑management technology. Players Jonas, Aursnes, Pavlidis, Schjelderup and Sudakok appeared in the promotional video, alongside women's‑team member Catarina Amado.

Brazilian sports brand Penalty released a limited‑edition replica of the blue Brazil futsal shirt worn in a single match at the 1996 World Championship. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of that title, the jersey is made from jacquard fabric, bears the number 12 of captain Vander Iacovino and retails for R$249.99 in selected stores and online.
