Benfica beats Sporting 5-2, closes in on Portuguese roller‑hockey championship

The win, which follows a 3‑2 victory in the first leg, leaves Benfica just one win away from clinching the national title. Goals were scored by Zé Miranda (two), Gonçalo Pinto and Lucas Ordoñez, with Zé Miranda completing a hat‑trick late in the game. Sporting’s only goal came from Alessandro Verona but was later annulled. Goalkeeper Conti Acevedo made several decisive saves for Benfica.
