Benfica coach Marco Silva addresses Claudio Echeverri's future

Benfica manager Marco Silva has stated that the club will not rush a decision regarding the permanent acquisition of Argentine player Claudio Echeverri. Despite discussions surrounding a potential €21 million purchase option, Silva emphasized that the club has ample time to analyze and integrate the player.

Echeverri, who is on loan from Manchester City, has demonstrated significant quality, including involvement in two goals during a recent 4-1 victory against Omonia. Silva noted that the decision to bring the 20-year-old to the club at the end of the transfer market was based on a specific profile needed for the squad. The coach maintained that decisions should not be made based on only a few months or a handful of matches, asserting that the player needs continued work to evolve within the team.
