Benfica manager Marco Silva monitors squad rotation

Benfica head coach Marco Silva has been observed closely monitoring the development of players within the club's structure. He recently attended a Liga 2 match between Benfica B and Felgueiras in Seixal to observe several players who typically train with the first team, including Diogo Ferreira, Gabriel Índio, José Neto, and Anísio Cabral. Anísio Cabral scored during the match in the 33rd minute.

In preparation for Benfica's upcoming Europa League second round fixture against Celtic at Estádio da Luz, Silva is expected to implement squad rotation. This approach is intended to provide opportunities for various players to compete for starting positions.
