Benfica signs Polish defender Jakub Kaminski and 16‑year‑old Lithuanian midfielder Kristupas Liutvinas

Benfica announced the signing of 24‑year‑old Polish defender Jakub Kaminski. The player, a former Lech Poznań youth product who later played for Wolfsburg and Cologne in the Bundesliga, recorded seven goals and three assists in 36 league games and has earned more than thirty caps for Poland, including a appearance at the Qatar World Cup. He joins Benfica as the third acquisition of the Marco Silva era, providing additional depth on the left side of attack.

The club also confirmed the arrival of 16‑year‑old Lithuanian midfielder Kristupas Liutvinas from the Vilnius Football Academy. The young international, already capped eleven times for Lithuania at youth level, will join Benfica's under‑17 squad. Liutvinas expressed his ambition to adapt to Portuguese football, develop under the club’s facilities, and eventually compete for a place in the senior team.
