Portuguese clubs detail pre‑season staff moves and new signing

FC Porto B announced that its pre‑season preparation for the 2026/27 campaign will start on 6 July with physical tests at the Jorge Costa Training Centre in Olival, followed by a training camp in Quiaios. The technical staff will be led by head coach João Brandão and will include assistants Tiago Sousa, Diogo Paiva, Abel Pimenta and Paulinho Santos, goalkeeper coach Rafael Albuquerque, and performance manager Ricardo Ribeiro, who replaces José Mário Rocha.

Benfica resumed training on 25 June without new signings. Central defender António Silva is in contract‑extension talks, seeking a guarantee to be a starter under manager Marco Silva before his current deal expires in 2027.
