Bengaluru hosts ‘Run for Rajiv 2026’ 5K run

Karnataka Congress leaders, including KPCC President BK Hariprasad and State Minister Rizwan Arshad, flagged off the second edition of the ‘Run for Rajiv 2026’ 5K Run in Bengaluru. The event was organized to commemorate the upcoming birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on August 20.

The run saw participation from thousands of young people. During the event, BK Hariprasad described Rajiv Gandhi as a ‘youth icon’ and noted that his vision helped establish Bengaluru as a major global technology hub. Minister Rizwan Arshad highlighted the event as a platform for youth fitness and community bonding, noting Bengaluru’s growing reputation as a marathon capital.
