Bengaluru man kills two daughters at hotel, attempts suicide

A 40-year-old man, identified as SG Imran, allegedly killed his two minor daughters, aged 5 and 10, at a five-star hotel near Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The victims, Shaik Zehara and Shaik Zoya, were found dead in their hotel room after staff received no response to their calls.

Imran was discovered in the hotel bathroom with a self-inflicted throat wound. He was rushed to Manipal Hospital and is reported to be out of danger. Police recovered a suicide note from the scene indicating that the incident was motivated by deep-seated marital disputes and suspicions regarding his wife’s infidelity.

Deputy Commissioner of Police GK Mithun Kumar confirmed that a murder case has been registered. Investigators are currently reviewing CCTV footage, digital evidence, and phone records to establish a complete timeline of the events. The accused is expected to be questioned once he is medically fit to do so.
