Bengaluru: Man and 4-year-old son found dead in home

A 34-year-old man and his four-year-old son were found dead in their home in the Chikkabanavara area of North Bengaluru. The victims have been identified as Abhinandan and his young son.

According to police reports, the incident likely occurred between the night of August 16 and the morning of August 17. Abhinandan's body showed signs of physical trauma, including injuries to his face, hands, and head, while the child appears to have been strangled.

The victim's mother, Bhagyamma, has filed a complaint against Abhinandan's wife, Harini, who is currently missing. The complaint alleges that Harini had a previous extramarital affair and had left the home once before. Police have registered an FIR against Harini and others under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are investigating whether the murders were planned with the assistance of an accomplice.
