Bengaluru Man Confronted for Pretending Disability to Beg

A young man identified as Mukesh, originally from Uttar Pradesh, was caught in Bengaluru by local residents while posing as a physically disabled beggar. He used a walking stick and limped on camera, but residents said they saw him walk normally moments earlier. The confrontation was recorded and the video spread widely on social media.

Police were called after locals recovered an iPhone allegedly belonging to a person named Neeraj and moved the suspect to a homeless shelter in Sumanahalli. The incident has raised concerns about fraud targeting charity and possible suspicion toward genuinely disabled individuals.
