A fatal road rage incident occurred near Electronics City, Bengaluru, on October 21 at approximately 1:50 am. The victim, Ranjith Kumar Sahu, a 25-year-old cook originally from Bihar, died from injuries sustained after being dragged approximately 100 to 150 metres under a vehicle.

The confrontation reportedly began when Sahu and a friend gestured to a speeding Maruti Swift Dzire to slow down near a road crossing. The occupants of the car allegedly intercepted the group, leading to a physical altercation. During the dispute, the driver allegedly struck Sahu, who became trapped beneath the car as it continued to drive at high speed.

Electronics City police have arrested three suspects: Ajay Rabidas, Sajal Namashudra, and Bijon Roy. The suspects reportedly admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the incident. Police are currently searching for the vehicle's owner, Shyam Khoar, who remains at large. The accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
