Bengkalis Police seize 5.25 grams of ecstasy in Bathin Solapan raid
Police from the Bengkalis Police Department conducted a raid on a residence in Bathin Solapan, Riau, on August 26, 2026. The operation, which took place around 03:30 WIB, resulted in the seizure of 5.25 grams of suspected yellow ecstasy pills.
Two individuals, identified by the initials RI (38) and SM (25), were taken into custody. During the search, officers found two packages of the suspected narcotics hidden under a refrigerator and one package inside a wardrobe. Authorities also confiscated three mobile phones, empty plastic clips, and tissue paper.
The suspects reportedly stated they obtained the substances from an individual known as E, who is currently the subject of an ongoing investigation. While the suspects were detained, initial urine tests for methamphetamine and amphetamine returned negative results.
