Bengkalis Regency enhances data governance and public services

The Bengkalis Regency Government is implementing several initiatives to improve administrative efficiency and public service accessibility. Through the ‘Satu Data Kabupaten Bengkalis’ program, the local government is working to integrate data across various regional agencies. This effort, discussed in a forum involving Bappeda, Diskominfotik, and BPS Bengkalis, aims to ensure that development planning and budget allocations are based on accurate, real-time data to prevent mismatches between programs and their intended beneficiaries.

In a separate effort to improve direct community access, the Bengkalis Civil Registry Office (Disdukcapil) has launched mobile service initiatives in several villages, including Kembung Luar, Kembung Baru, and Teluk Lancar. These services provide on-site assistance for electronic ID card (KTP-el) recording, Child Identity Card (KIA) issuance, and the activation of Digital Population Identity (IKD). These mobile services are designed to support the administration of social protection programs and promote the digitalization of public services within the region.
