Bengkalis Regency proposes 15-hectare site for Integrated National School
The Bengkalis Regency Government in Riau, Indonesia, is advocating for the construction of an Integrated National School (SNT) within its jurisdiction. To demonstrate commitment to the project, Regent Kasmarni announced that the local government has prepared approximately 15 hectares of land in Petani Village, Bathin Solapan District.
During an audience with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education in Jakarta, Kasmarni stated that the establishment of an SNT aims to expand educational access and promote equitable learning quality for the younger generation. She expressed optimism that the prepared land would make Bengkalis a strong candidate for the central government's strategic program.
Kasmarni also acknowledged ongoing support from the Ministry through educational facility revitalization programs. To date, these efforts have reached 39 early childhood education units, 10 elementary schools, and 18 junior high schools in the Bengkalis Regency. The Regent emphasized the need for continued synergy with the central government to ensure all students have access to high-quality education.
