Bengkalis residents face Pertalite fuel shortages

Residents on Bengkalis Island and Rupat Island are experiencing difficulties obtaining Pertalite fuel, leading to long vehicle queues at gas stations. The Head of the Bengkalis Trade and Industry Office, Zulfan, confirmed the queues and stated that local authorities are working to ensure fuel availability.

Concerns have been raised regarding the adequacy of the supply, particularly for residents in remote areas. With only four gas stations serving the region and limited operating hours, there are questions about whether the current distribution system can effectively reach rural villages far from the city center.
