Benha University Hospitals serve 1.6 million patients in one year

Benha University Hospitals reported serving approximately 1,633,616 beneficiaries through various medical, therapeutic, and diagnostic services between August 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026. The hospitals provide essential healthcare to residents of the Qalyubia Governorate and neighboring regions.

Key performance indicators include 265,472 cases in outpatient and pediatric clinics, 238,181 emergency and reception cases, and 37,343 inpatient cases. Clinical activities during this period involved performing 604,323 medical analyses, 230,620 radiology procedures, 184,650 ECGs, and 1,108 EEG tests. Additionally, the hospitals conducted 21,223 surgical operations and 5,361 gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures.

Specialized services included care for 9,996 oncology cases and dialysis for 3,284 adult patients and 612 children. The university administration emphasized that these results reflect ongoing efforts to expand specialized medical services, improve infrastructure, and integrate clinical training and scientific research with patient care.
