Beni Suef Governor oversees university scholarship ceremonies

Major General Abdullah Abdel Aziz, the Governor of Beni Suef, participated in ceremonies to award higher education scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. These initiatives aim to support high-achieving high school graduates and students with disabilities.

In one ceremony, the Meshwar Society for Community Development, in cooperation with the Imam Al-Nawawi Association, provided scholarships for students entering top-tier faculties at Egyptian public universities. The Governor emphasized that these grants are a right of the students within society and praised the role of civil society organizations as essential partners to the state in improving services and development.

In a separate event, the Beni Suef Renaissance Foundation awarded 63 university scholarships to outstanding students from both General and Al-Azhar high schools. These comprehensive scholarships cover tuition fees, textbooks, and university dormitory residency, along with a monthly stipend to alleviate the financial burden on families. The Governor described these educational opportunities as an investment in the future of both the students and the community.
