Beni Suef health insurance officials investigate 25 medical staff

Dr. Mohamed Yehia Ismail, Director of the Beni Suef Health Insurance Branch, conducted a surprise inspection at the Beni Suef Health Insurance Hospital at 6:00 AM to monitor operational readiness and service quality.

During the inspection, which coincided with an emergency day, officials discovered that 13 doctors and 12 nursing staff members assigned to the shift were absent from their posts. Consequently, the director referred all 25 staff members to legal affairs for investigation to ensure professional discipline and accountability.

The inspection covered critical departments, including intensive care, nurseries, cardiac care, radiology, laboratories, and the blood bank. Dr. Ismail reviewed the availability of essential supplies, such as medicines, blood types, plasma, and medical gases like oxygen, to ensure the hospital is prepared for emergency cases.
