Benidorm apartment fire leaves four people injured

An early morning fire in a 16-story building in Benidorm destroyed a residence on the ninth floor. The incident, which began shortly before 4:00 AM, resulted in four people suffering from smoke inhalation.

Emergency services, including the Provincial Firefighters Consortium, worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other units. While the affected apartment was completely incinerated, firefighters successfully evacuated nearby residents and prevented further damage to the building.

Medical teams from SAMU and SVB treated the four individuals. Two men, aged 40 and 75, and a 43-year-old woman were transported to Hospital Marina Baixa in La Vila Joiosa, while a 79-year-old man was taken to Clínica Benidorm.
