Benidorm City Council receives National Hospitality Award

The Benidorm City Council has been awarded a National Hospitality Award by Hostelería de España. The organization, which represents over 300,000 companies in the sector, presented the award in the ‘entity or institution’ category during its 20th edition.

The recognition highlights the council’s long-term support for the local hospitality industry, specifically noting the ‘Benidorm Gastronómico’ brand. This initiative, developed alongside the ABRECA business association for 15 years, aims to promote local gastronomy as a key element of the city’s identity and tourism appeal.

Mayor Toni Pérez stated that the award recognizes the collective effort to elevate the city’s restaurant and hospitality sectors, emphasizing their role in generating employment and wealth.
