LINAFOOT announces 47 clubs for 2026-2027 Ligue 2 season

The Ligue Nationale de Football (LINAFOOT) has officially released the list of 47 clubs selected to compete in the 2026-2027 Ligue 2 season. The clubs are divided into three development zones: East (15 clubs), West (16 clubs), and Centre-Sud (16 clubs). Notable teams included in the West zone are Daring Club Motema Pembe (DCMP), OC Renaissance du Congo, and FC MK.

However, the start of the national championships has been postponed indefinitely. This delay follows a decision by FECOFA to harmonize and update regulatory texts to ensure a consistent legal framework before competitions begin. LINAFOOT has stated that official calendars for both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 will be released 14 days prior to the newly determined kickoff dates.
