Benito Fernández to attend Surubí Fishing Contest in Reconquista

Renowned Argentine fashion designer Benito Fernández will attend the 39th Argentine Surubí Fishing Contest in Reconquista on Friday, October 9. Fernández, known for his international career and for dressing Queen Máxima of the Netherlands for over two decades, will participate in the selection of the event's new Ambassador.

The selection committee for the 2026-2027 Ambassador includes Soraya Nallip, Patricia Retamozo, Luciana Lencina, Ana María Gobbi, and Norberto Maurenzi. The role involves representing the Surubí Contest and the city of Reconquista at national fairs and tourism promotion activities for one year.

Applications for the position remain open until Monday, October 5, for residents of the General Obligado Department aged 18 to 30 who have completed secondary education.
