Benito Juárez festival and Olmué flamenco tablao draw crowds

The municipal government of Benito Juárez in Quintana Roo celebrated the third anniversary of its Festival of Traditions of Danzón and Bohemia with more than 8,500 attendees. The event featured the Municipal Orchestra Benito Juárez, a youth orchestra from the local community arts centre, and dance groups such as Amigos del Danzón and Danzoneros del Caribe, highlighting traditional ballroom dance and Mexican musical heritage.

In Olmué, Chile, the Escuela Flamenca Triana staged a Tablao at the Terra Viva Events Center to raise funds for its "Trianatón" campaign. Sixteen flamenco dances were performed by the academy’s students, showcasing classic costumes, mantones, fans and castanets. All ticket revenue was pledged to improve the school’s facilities in Viña del Mar, supporting the local development of flamenco in the Valparaíso region.
