Benito Juárez: Four houses destroyed in Barrio Jardín fire

A significant fire destroyed four houses in the Barrio Jardín neighborhood of Benito Juárez this Saturday. The blaze originated in one residence at the intersection of San Antonio and Álvaro Barros streets and quickly spread to three adjacent homes. The rapid propagation was attributed to the connected roof structures typical of the neighborhood's housing.

Firefighters successfully rescued one individual who was sleeping inside a building and unaware of the danger. While the exact cause remains under investigation, local hypotheses include clothing falling onto a heater or an electrical short circuit. At least two of the four affected properties suffered total losses, while the others sustained damage from flames, smoke, and water.
