Benito Juárez judge bans child support debtor from football events

A court in Benito Juárez, Argentina, has prohibited a father from participating in or attending football tournaments and events in the cities of Tandil and Benito Juárez. The ruling follows the man's failure to pay child support for his two children for more than a year.

Judge Walter Fabián Pacheco issued the resolution on September 10 after traditional enforcement methods, such as asset seizures and registration in the Registry of Delinquent Child Support Debtors, failed to resolve the situation. The court utilized non-patrimonial measures allowed under the reform of the Buenos Aires Provincial Procedural Code to ensure compliance with the court order.
