Benjamin Kalu and Tompolo strategize for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, met with Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, in Abuja to discuss strategies for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

Kalu, who serves as the Deputy Director-General for South II of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, and Tompolo, the convener of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, focused on grassroots mobilization, voter sensitization, and youth engagement. The discussions aimed to consolidate support for the ruling party across the South-South and South-East geopolitical zones.

The meeting follows the recent commissioning of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s national secretariat. The leaders explored a joint operational framework to coordinate campaign activities at the ward level. Kalu emphasized that the movement is a critical vehicle for ensuring the administration’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ reaches voters at the household level.
