Benjamin Naylor sentenced to prison for child pornography offenses
Benjamin Naylor, a 32-year-old former employee of Christ Hospital, has been sentenced to between seven and nine-and-a-half years in prison for pandering child pornography. Naylor pleaded guilty to eight counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and one count of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in a state of nudity.
The investigation began after Naylor was confronted by the online vigilante group Predator Poachers outside his workplace. During a livestreamed confrontation, Naylor reportedly admitted to trading child pornography involving infants and toddlers.
Cincinnati Police Detective Mary Braun testified that the material found on Naylor’s phone was among the most disturbing and alarming she had encountered in her career. Prosecutors noted that Naylor’s digital communications included disturbing fantasies and statements suggesting he believed child rape should be legalized.
