Jewish settlers have been besieging homes in the village for nearly a week. US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has characterized the settlers involved as ‘Israeli terrorists’. Washington’s increased scrutiny follows reports that the home of a Palestinian-American citizen was among those targeted during the siege.
