Benjamin Netanyahu seeks to unmask whistleblowers in ‘NAZA’ documentary
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Attorney General and the head of the Shin Bet intelligence agency to uncover the identities of individuals featured in the award-winning documentary film ‘NAZA’. The film includes testimonies from 24 Israeli military intelligence officers, soldiers, and whistleblowers who describe the mechanisms behind military actions against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu is seeking criminal prosecution against the film’s directors, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, accusing them of harming Israel’s diplomatic and security interests. He has called on Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, and Shin Bet chief David Zini to act urgently to identify all participants and contributors to the film, which he characterized as defamatory.
