Benjamin Tahirović nears transfer from Brøndby to KRC Genk

Benjamin Tahirović is reportedly nearing a permanent transfer from Danish club Brøndby IF to Belgian side KRC Genk. Negotiations between the two clubs are in advanced stages, with the transfer fee expected to reach approximately four million euros.

Tahirović, a 23-year-old defensive midfielder who represents the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, is expected to sign a four-year contract with Genk. He has recently been training away from the Brøndby squad as the deal progresses.

The potential move represents a significant profit for Brøndby, who acquired the player from Ajax in early 2025. While earlier reports suggested a higher valuation of up to eight or nine million euros, the current negotiations are centered around the four-million-euro mark.
