Benjamín Gil named manager of Diablos Rojos del México

Benjamín Gil has been officially presented as the new manager for the Diablos Rojos del México. His contract is set for the next two seasons, succeeding Lorenzo Bundy. Gil, known as ‘El Matador’, expressed his commitment to winning championships and stated that he views the organization as the best in Mexico due to its facilities and staff.

During the presentation, Gil also apologized to the fans for previous comments in which he had criticized the team's supporters.

While Gil aims to eventually manage in Major League Baseball, he emphasized his desire to contribute to the growth of Mexican baseball. The team's management, including Vice President Santiago Harp, noted that Gil had been a target for the organization for several years, viewing his appointment as a strategic move to improve the team's performance following a season that did not meet sporting expectations.
