Benjamín Hites wins GT3 Cup 2 title at Nürburgring
Chilean racing driver Benjamín Hites has secured the GT3 Cup 2 championship of the Porsche Endurance Trophy at the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) in Germany. Competing with the Black Falcon team alongside teammates Alexander Hardt and Benjamin Koslowski, Hites achieved the title following a dramatic conclusion to the four-hour endurance race.
While the Porsche #904 driven by Nico Bastián and Tim Scheerbarth initially crossed the finish line first, the team was issued a one-minute penalty for overtaking a competitor under a yellow flag. Despite an appeal, the stewards upheld the sanction, resulting in the victory and the Cup 2 title being awarded to the #900 Black Falcon car piloted by Hites, Hardt, and Koslowski.
