Benji & Fede respond with irony to fan interaction controversy

Italian musical duo Benji & Fede have responded with irony to recent social media controversies regarding their interactions with fans. The backlash began in late September after a viral video appeared to show the artists looking annoyed when a fan attempted to hug them during a meet and greet event.

Addressing the criticism on Instagram, Benjamin Mascolo posted a sarcastic message on behalf of the duo. He stated, “Just finished the pre-concert meet and greet. We hope we have reached your level of satisfaction in the hugging performance.” He further joked that any complaints could be sent to a fictional customer service email address: “bacieabbracci@benjiefede.it”.

The duo is currently embarking on a new theater tour, with scheduled stops in cities including Turin, Florence, Bologna, Pescara, Rome, Milan, and Naples.
