Benny Andersson supports Magdalena Andersson at election rally

During the final ten hours of the election campaign, ABBA legend Benny Andersson appeared at a Socialdemokraterna rally in Stockholm to support party leader Magdalena Andersson. Performing at the party's headquarters on Sveavägen, Andersson played the piano and performed a modified version of the ABBA classic ‘Mamma Mia’, featuring lyrics such as ‘Magdalena, how can I resist you?’.

Benny Andersson, who identified himself as a Social Democrat like his father and grandfather, noted his history of performing for former leaders Olof Palme and Anna Lindh.
