Benny Tjokrosaputro's apartments sold for Rp10.7 billion
The Indonesian Attorney General’s Office Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) has successfully auctioned five apartment units at South Hills in South Jakarta. The assets belong to Benny Tjokrosaputro, a convict involved in the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya corruption scandal.
The auction, conducted electronically in collaboration with the Jakarta IV State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL), yielded a total of approximately Rp10.73 billion. Some units sold above their established limit prices, contributing to a total margin increase of Rp80 million over the set limits.
These specific units are part of a larger pool of 74 South Hills apartment units seized by the state, which have a combined limit value of Rp182.07 billion and associated environmental management fees totaling Rp13.62 billion.
