BenQ launches ScreenBar Max and iScreenBar monitor lights

BenQ has announced the launch of two new monitor light bars designed for specific workstation setups: the ScreenBar Max and the iScreenBar. Both products are scheduled for release on August 26, 2026.

The ScreenBar Max is engineered for dual-monitor environments. It utilizes ASYM-TriZone Light technology to provide uniform illumination across a wide area (approximately 135 x 58 cm) while minimizing screen glare. The device features a stand-mounted design with adjustable height and a 24GHz mmWave radar sensor that enables automatic lighting based on user presence.

The iScreenBar is specifically designed for the 24-inch iMac (2021 and later models). It uses a magnetic mounting system on the back of the computer to avoid obstructing the built-in camera or microphones. Constructed from aluminum, it integrates with macOS via a dedicated app for controlling brightness and color temperature. It also includes a specialized “Web Conference Mode” to improve facial lighting during video calls.

Both products include ambient light sensors for automatic brightness adjustment and aim to reduce eye strain by providing asymmetric lighting that focuses on the desk surface rather than the display.
