BenQ launches world's first AI-based golf simulator projectors

BenQ Indonesia has officially introduced the AK900ST and AK800ST, which are claimed to be the world's first golf simulator projectors utilizing artificial intelligence. The launch took place during the Indonesia Golf Festival 2026 at ICE BSD in Tangerang.

The projectors feature BenQ AI Sim Sense™ technology, powered by an integrated AI Processing Unit (APU). This system is designed to analyze environmental factors such as room lighting, golf course content, and the characteristics of the impact screen to automatically optimize visual parameters. By adjusting brightness, color, contrast, resolution, and clarity, the technology aims to create a highly realistic and immersive indoor golf experience, accurately replicating textures like grass and fairway conditions.

Andryanto C. Wijaya, President Director of BenQ Indonesia, stated that this launch marks the company's first step in integrating AI into its projector portfolio. He noted that the company intends to continue developing AI-based intelligence, automation, and adaptive display technologies to shape the next generation of visual solutions.
