Bentley celebrates 80 years of Crewe production with one-off tribute car
Bentley is celebrating 80 years of production at its Crewe factory. To mark the milestone, Bentley's Mulliner division has created a unique, one-off Continental GT Azure designed as a tribute to the plant's very first vehicle, a 1946 Mark VI.
The custom vehicle features a Barnato Green exterior with a Mulliner Black roof, mirroring the two-tone livery of the original Mark VI. While the car utilizes modern hardware, including 22-inch wheels and carbon-fiber styling, the interior pays homage to classic aesthetics with Cricket Ball red and Beluga leather, alongside burr walnut trim inspired by the 1946 dashboard.
The anniversary festivities included an event at the British Motor Museum on August 29, where the new tribute was displayed alongside the original Mark VI from Bentley's Heritage Collection. The event also saw participation from the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club.
