Bentley marks 80 years of Crewe production with special Continental GTC

Bentley unveiled a one‑off Continental GTC finished in a new "Supernova Purple Ombre" paint scheme to commemorate eight decades of car manufacturing at its Crewe plant. The bespoke vehicle features a gradient‑fade colour, an "80" side graphic, embroidered headrests and an airbrushed interior illustration of Bentley’s historic Design Studio building.

The launch event on 28 July 2026 gathered more than 100 customers who toured the factory and viewed a chronological display of 107 Bentley models. Bentley’s Board Member for Manufacturing, Andreas Lehe, highlighted the role of Crewe’s workforce and the plant’s transition toward a "Dream Factory" that blends traditional craftsmanship with digital, flexible production, paving the way for the upcoming electric model Torquay (Torcal) slated for launch later in the year.
