Bentley Motors showcases heritage at Italy’s ‘Tutto Bene’ hill climb
Bentley Motors showcased its century-long performance heritage at the ‘Tutto Bene’ automotive culture event held at Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. The event featured a 6km hill climb on the Mottarone course, where models such as the ‘Pikes Peak Bentayga’ and the ‘Super Sports FULL SEND’ were driven to emphasize driving pleasure and style rather than pure speed competition.
Exhibits at the ‘Bar Stazione’ hub included a Flying Spur with a glow-in-the-dark livery created by artist David Guider, the ‘Bentayga X Concept’ off-road vehicle, and the 2003 Le Mans 24 Hours winning ‘Speed 8’. The 1926 original Super Sports model, ‘Smoky’, also made an appearance to represent the brand's historical lineage.
Separately, Bentley Motors announced the appointment of T. John Meyer as the new Head of Exterior Design and Design Operations, noting his role in the upcoming UX design vision for the ‘Torcal’ model.
