Bentley owned by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor sells for £125,000

A Bentley Flying Spur previously owned by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has sold for £124,975, just one day after being listed at a dealership in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

The vehicle, described as an ‘Ex Royal Family Car’, features a Barnato racing green exterior with a linen and Cumbrian green diamond-quilted leather interior. It is equipped with a six-litre engine, four-wheel drive, 22-inch alloy wheels, massage functions for both front and rear seats, and a Naim sound system. At the time of sale, the car had recorded only 7,000 miles.

Clive Watson, owner of Portland of Bawtry Ltd, noted that while the dealership did not purchase the vehicle directly from the Royal Household, the car was acquired through a third party. Watson stated that the car’s unusual service history led staff to investigate its origins, eventually concluding it belonged to a member of the royal family. The royal connection was cited as a factor in the rapid sale and the high level of interest, with six additional inquiries received the day after the transaction.
