Bentley to debut Torcal, its first fully electric high-performance SUV

Bentley is preparing to launch the Torcal, the brand’s first fully electric SUV, which is expected to be the most powerful and fastest model in the company’s history. The official debut is scheduled for September 23, 2026, in London.

Built on the Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture—the same used for the electric Porsche Cayenne—the Torcal will utilize an 800V system. Technical specifications indicate the vehicle will feature dual electric motors producing between 838 and 850 horsepower, with some reports suggesting output could exceed 1,000 hp in Launch Control mode. The SUV is expected to achieve a 0-100 km/h acceleration in approximately 2.5 to 3 seconds.

The vehicle will be equipped with a battery capacity of approximately 108-113 kWh, providing an estimated WLTP range of up to 600 km. It will support rapid DC charging of up to 400 kW, allowing for significant range recovery in short intervals.

Interior features will blend traditional luxury with modern technology, including a curved display, a ‘Curation Engine’ for personalized cabin settings, and the ‘Bentley Dynamic Symphony’—a synthesized soundscape designed to complement the electric driving experience. The cabin will also introduce new materials, such as sheep’s wool, to maintain the brand’s signature refinement.
