Bentley to debut updated Flying Spur in Japan with nationwide showcase
Bentley Motors Japan has announced the Japanese debut of the updated Flying Spur, a four-door luxury sedan. To mark the arrival, the company will host the ‘New Flying Spur Debut Showcase’ at seven authorized retailer locations across Japan, starting in Nagoya on August 21, 2026, and moving through Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Tokyo, Yokohama, and Sapporo.
The new model is built on a V8 hybrid powertrain and features a redesigned exterior, including single front headlamps—a design element not seen on a Bentley sedan since 1962. The performance-oriented Flying Spur S variant delivers 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 308 km/h. It also introduces an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) for the first time in this model line.
Interior craftsmanship remains a focus, with five expanded seat styles that require 12 hours of hand-crafting per seat. Production of the new Flying Spur is scheduled to begin at the Crewe factory in the United Kingdom in September 2026.
