Bentley Torcal EV launches Curation Engine cabin experience

Bentley Motors has unveiled the Curation Engine in its new fully electric Torcal SUV. The system uses sensory neuroscience to synchronise lighting, sound, climate, air quality and digital information, offering four mood‑based cabin modes – Bentley, Comfort, Sport and Refresh – plus a Digital Detox option that limits infotainment.

The interior teaser shows a blend of physical controls and high‑tech displays: buttons and knobs for climate and volume, a rotary selector for the modes, carbon‑fibre, leather, wood trim and Naim audio speakers. The curved digital instrument cluster and central touchscreen sit alongside traditional luxury touches such as diamond‑stitched seats and the brand’s winged logo.

Technical specifications include a 113 kWh battery delivering roughly 500 km of range, a dual‑motor all‑wheel‑drive system and fast‑charging capability up to 390 kW. The Torcal shares the Volkswagen Group PPE platform with the Porsche Cayenne Electric.
